We believe in access for ALL learners and offer a comprehensive support to ALL educators.
We specialize in professional learning for: Bilingual, Dual Language, ENL & Special Education Teachers across the globe - onsite at your school and online.
Learn alongside each other at your school site. Jen/Lucía will spend the day inside your school working with grade level teams to model instruction and coach teachers around workshop teaching, small group work and components of balanced literacy. These labs help teachers build best practices in a collaborative way.
Learn together anytime, from anywhere. Jen/Lucía will join your teachers virtually during the school day, in their classrooms, or in after school PD sessions. They can model workshop teaching, balanced literacy practices and small group work for you. They can also design and present one time or regular after school PD sessions around any literacy topic. These labs (hourly) help teachers build knowledge and best practices.
Learn more about reading variability and how to support ALL readers. Jen/Lucía will spend time with your intervention and reading teachers across the school year helping them utilize data to best understand their readers and design small group instruction that will move them forward. They can also model teaching and coach to help build best practices. These labs help schools look closely at all tiers of reading instruction.
Learn and grow your practice together during the summer. Jen/Lucía will spend 2-5 days with your district or school diving deeply into literacy. Whether you’d like support with TCRWP Units of Study, balanced literacy practices, small group work or a combination, they can design summer professional learning that meets your school year goals. These collaboratives help get districts and schools off to a strong start for the beginning of the school year.
Learn more about leading well and grow the capacity of literacy leaders. Jen/Lucía will spend time with literacy leaders in your school or district helping them find the best ways to promote teacher and student change. They can work alongside you in classrooms and virtually across the school year. In addition to helping you build capacity, they will design systems to move your literacy goals forward. These days are best done at intervals across the year to promote district and school wide change.
